• The DHL Express waybill number for Time Definite shipments is a 10 digit number (e.g. 1234567890).
• There are three ways to track DHL ECONOMY SELECT shipments – by piece identifier, by shipment number or by your own reference number.
• You can track your shipment by piece identifier (or ‘JD’ number) using DHL’s main tracking service.
• If you would like to track by the shipment number (usually beginning with ‘8’), please use DHL’s Shipper’s Reference Tracking service.

Alternatively if you assigned your own reference to your shipment, you can also track this using DHL’s Shipper’s Reference Tracking service. If you have used the same reference on more than one shipment, you can also narrow your search by specifying the pickup date and entering the shipment destination and account number as required.
